Terms and Conditions

1. Who we are and what we do
SkyAssist Travel ("we", "us") operates a flight comparison and assisted booking service. We compare flight options from travel data providers, present recommendations, and — once you confirm with our travel expert and complete payment — arrange ticket issuance with the relevant airline. We act as a booking intermediary; the air travel itself is provided by the airline under its own conditions of carriage.
2. Fares and availability
Flight prices and seat availability change continuously and are controlled by airlines, not by us. Fares displayed in search results are indicative until re-checked and confirmed by our travel expert. No booking exists, and no fare is guaranteed, until payment is completed and a ticket is issued with an airline booking reference (PNR).
3. Recommendations
Our "Best Value", "Cheapest" and "Fastest" labels are produced by automated analysis of the flight data returned for your specific search, weighted by any preferences you provide. They are decision aids, not advice, and do not guarantee that a cheaper or more suitable fare does not exist elsewhere.
4. Your responsibilities
You are responsible for the accuracy of names (matching passports), dates, passport validity (generally 6+ months), and obtaining any required visas or health documentation. Airlines may deny boarding for documentation issues without refund liability on our part. Check your itinerary and ticket details on receipt and tell us immediately of any error.
5. Payments and service fee
Payments are processed through a secure payment gateway. Our service fee is displayed as a separate line before payment — see the Service Fee Policy. Ticket issuance occurs after successful payment, normally within 2 business hours during business hours (Mon–Sat 9:00 AM – 8:00 PM (AEST)).
6. Changes, cancellations and refunds
Post-ticketing changes and refunds are governed by the airline's fare rules, which we display before booking. Our own fees for handling changes are set out in the Refund and Cancellation Policy. Airline-initiated schedule changes are handled for you at no service charge.
7. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the re-supply of our booking service or a refund of our service fee. We are not liable for airline delays, cancellations, denied boarding, baggage handling or in-flight service, which are the airline's responsibility under its conditions of carriage and applicable conventions. Nothing in these terms excludes rights that cannot be excluded under applicable consumer law, including the Australian Consumer Law.
8. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the site — including scraping fares at scale, submitting false enquiries, or attempting to breach security. We may suspend service for misuse.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms; the version published at the time of your booking applies to that booking.
