The generous carriers
Gulf carriers (Emirates, Qatar Airways, Etihad) frequently include 25–35kg in economy on this corridor. Singapore Airlines and Malaysia Airlines commonly offer 25–30kg depending on fare family. The same airline can sell 20kg and 35kg versions of the same flight minutes apart — the fare family, not the brand, decides your allowance.
How to use the baggage filter
Set 'Min checked baggage' in your search preferences (or the results filter) to your real need — for most visits home that's 30kg. The comparison then excludes fares that would ambush you with excess-baggage fees, and the Best Value ranking automatically rewards allowance you'd otherwise pay for separately.
