Service Fee Policy
Last updated: 1 July 2026
Why a service fee exists
Search and comparison here are free. When you book, real people do real work: re-verifying your fare in airline systems, checking baggage and special requests, issuing the ticket, and staying available for schedule changes until you're home. The service fee pays for that — transparently, as its own line, never hidden inside the fare.
Current fees
- International bookings: A$69 per booking
- Domestic bookings: A$49 per booking
- Fees may vary for complex itineraries (multi-city, groups of 10+, special fare classes) — always quoted to you before payment.
The exact fee for your booking is always displayed separately at checkout and on any payment link, next to the flight fare and taxes. If you don't see it itemised, don't pay — and tell us.
What the fee covers
- Live fare and availability verification before payment
- Ticket issuance and delivery of your e-ticket and airline PNR
- Handling of seating, meal, bassinet and assistance requests
- Post-booking support, including airline-initiated schedule changes at no extra service charge
What it doesn't cover
- The airline's own fees for voluntary changes or cancellations (your fare rules apply)
- Our separate handling fees for voluntary changes/refunds — see the Refund and Cancellation Policy
- Ancillaries you add later (extra baggage, paid seats), which are charged at the airline's price
When is it refundable?
In full, whenever a booking fails before ticket issuance. After ticketing it is non-refundable for voluntary cancellations, since the work has been performed. Nothing in this policy limits your rights under applicable consumer law.
